Algeco, a protected trademark

We regularly see the word Algeco used as a generic term, most commonly used to refer to modular constructions and most notably, barracks.

Besides being legally improper, this use is also very simplistic since Algeco, the historic inventor of Modular Construction and world leader in the area, today offers very diverse temporary and permanent solutions in a number of different areas (schools, offices, events, technical rooms).

Algeco must be recognized for the quality of its products and for its know-how.

We wish to remind you that the term Algeco refers to a commercial brand name, exclusively registered and as such, protected. The use of the ALGECO® brand in a generic sense is therefore prohibited on all non-authorized levels including the generic use of the term, especially since the generic use of the term often represents Algeco in a pejorative light that has the potential to damage the company or weaken the brand itself.

We also reserve the right to retract the word Algeco from dictionaries, as such use can result in the forfeiture or the rights of the trademark owner, and to enable use to insure appropriate defense of these rights.

Our company reserves all rights in relation to the reproduction of our brand in a specific sense or in prejudicial circumstances.

To avoid confusion and to avoid any inaccurate or potentially malicious associations, we would like to specify that the word Algeco must only be used for designs, products and installations from our company.

Thank you for your understanding. Enjoy your visit.
