VAPS Specialist – Nordic

Do you want to play a key role in shaping and developing a harmonized Nordic VAPS offering with real commercial impact? We are looking for a commercially driven specialist who can connect Procurement, Sales, and Marketing to drive profitability, innovation, and customer value across the Nordic region.
- Organizational Placement: Part of the Commercial function within SBU Nordics
- Location: Sweden, we have offices in Upplands Bro (Stockholm), Torslanda, Umeå and Jönköping
- Employment Type: Fixed-term employment, starting immediately through December 2027, with the possibility of extension.
Purpose
The purpose of this role is to develop and coordinate the full Nordic VAPS (Value Added Products & Services) offering across all Nordic countries, strengthening profitability, customer value, and alignment between Sales, Procurement, Marketing, and Facility Management.
The role has a strong commercial focus, with VAPS and market development at its core. We are therefore looking for a candidate with a commercial mindset who understands how product offering, pricing, sourcing, and customer value creation work together in a competitive market.
The position reports to the Commercial Director Nordics and works cross-functionally across the Nordic organization as well as with Group functions.
Key Responsibilities
Catalogue & Harmonization
- Define and harmonize the Nordic VAPS catalogue, ensuring consistent product naming, structure, and pricing logic.
- Collaborate closely with the Group VAPS team to align ways of working and best practices.
- Work together with sales managers and local organizations to identify the most competitive and value-adding products.
- Continuously develop the product portfolio and calculation models based on market feedback, supplier input, and ESG requirements.
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Act as the commercial link between Procurement and the business to improve competitiveness and profitability.
- Negotiate and manage supplier agreements, quality standards, and cost levels for VAPS products and services.
- Ensure margin protection through structured pricing governance and supplier management.
Sales & Marketing Enablement
- Support sales and marketing teams with campaigns, product launches, sales training, and commercial content.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing to develop high-quality product sheets, digital content, and customer-facing sales materials.
- Support local sales teams with pricing structures, product positioning, and VAPS knowledge.
- Ensure all VAPS offers are ESG-compliant and aligned with local regulatory requirements.
Performance & Business Development
- Track and report key KPIs such as ARR, attach rate, profitability, and supplier performance.
- Identify new VAPS opportunities and customer-driven solutions that strengthen recurring revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to tenders, campaigns, and future product launches across the Nordic region.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to profitability, procurement efficiency, and commercial excellence.

Profile
- Proven experience within procurement, product management, category management, or commercial development.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to connect customer value, pricing, and profitability.
- Experience from construction, rental, industrial, or related sectors is highly valued.
- Good understanding of supplier negotiations, sourcing, and ESG requirements.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a Nordic matrix organization.
- Fluent in English and at least one Nordic language (Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish).
